martin_allen Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Andy monitors it all for you so you need nothing. Get any mods on if you can though. Cooling seems to be the main one beyond decats and the like. If you can get a samco Y pipe or bigger intercooler that might help (depending on what you are driving of course) otherwise sit back and enjoy the ride home! m.

I can access all the data I need direct from the ECU during mapping. Your data monitor will be plugged back in after mapping is complete. One thing that may be worth adding, particulary on the 99/00 cars is a knocklink, this will give you early warning of a maf sensor failure which is common on this year of car. Undetected maf failure can lead to severe engine damage. Andy Edited December 18, 2007 by Andy.F

thefastone Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 So is it a good idea for all 99-00 cars to have Knocklinks fitted then... think I'll need to be looking into getting one then....
steven_williams Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 So is it a good idea for all 99-00 cars to have Knocklinks fitted then... think I'll need to be looking into getting one then.... Especially for your head, as it detonates every time you use it.
frank c Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 Ask Wuz about a K/link Dale. He'll either fit one nice and discreet somewhere so you'll only see the lights rather than the horrible box or he can fit the lights so you can wire it up yourself. Worth a try.
thefastone Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 I might just do that like... thats if He is allowed off the leish long enough!!!
