colzo Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 John, are the fronts components? Did you get spacers/adaptors with the speakers?
thewelsho Posted December 9, 2007 Author Posted December 9, 2007 John, are the fronts components? Did you get spacers/adaptors with the speakers? Components? Wassat? Just speakers, tweaters and little boxers for the wires.
nippysweeties Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Components? Wassat? Just speakers, tweaters and little boxers for the wires. John, http://users.sisna.com/ignatius/subaru/mods/index.html More here and some stuff here. Only useful if you fancy braving it yourself though! I've ripped a few cars apart to install stereos over the years and it's nowhere near as scary as you might think. So long as you're careful and make sure you've plenty time (and all the right bits!) before you start, there can be quite a sense of achievement once it's all working and back together - rattle free! Steve.
colzo Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Components? Wassat? Just speakers, tweaters and little boxers for the wires. Sounds like components you`ve got. Depending on the width/depth of the speakers you may need spacers/adaptors also mate. Some people make them from MDF, I ordered mine from the States so there is no need to drill holes and the magnet clears the window when its down. DynaMat is also a good idea for the bass/vibrations.
