nippysweeties Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 As the title states my windscreen washer packed in yesterday - on the way to Glenshee which is one of the most salted roads in Scotland I think! Thankfully it rained/snowed, so I wasn't in too much trouble! I found on the way home that if I pushed the button while going round a right hand bend I got some water out of it. Point is, I just wondered if this is common thing ('06 WRX) and if so is there a fix? I'm, off out to look at it shortly and have a poke about but, as always, your input would be appreciated. Steve.

nippysweeties Posted December 2, 2007 Author Posted December 2, 2007 Blow it out with an air line.Claim your warranty mate. Ahem ... Turns out it WAS empty. I filled up the coolant with screenwash yesterday Sorting it out now! Steve.
thefastone Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Sorry to hear of your confusion mate! Happens to the best of us I'm sure...
nippysweeties Posted December 4, 2007 Author Posted December 4, 2007 My Volvo used to tell me when the windscreen washer bottle was empty. My Scoobie doesn't. I know that now! Guess I should actually LOOK at the cap before I fill any of the bottles in future. I could end up with coolant in the brakes next time Thanks for the words of support guys Steve.
