kinghorn Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 well i was in the other day, to find that ian and vikki have been moved to land rover and the service team from land rover is now at subaru, not a happy bunny, ian has helped me out with so much since i bought the car, its not gonna be the same place.
thefastone Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 No way! thats a bit crepe... ah well... hope the new guy is not a muppet... wait and see...
mrtoad Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 surely you would still be able to deal with them though being as it is the same company? If people keep asking for them they move them back lol. I did see in the paper they were advertising for a parts manager, would that have something to do with it?
thefastone Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Advertising for a parts manger, does that mean that Phil has left too!!! now I WOULD be upset, Ian was good with me too, theres been a lot of occasions that Phil has helped me out like... He even managed to source a set off wheels from another customer for me!!!
mrtoad Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 just re-checked and I was (sort of) wrong! They are lookign for a parts manager, but it is for the land rover bit oopsy My mistake, sorry - can't have the brains AND good looks like - blighter when you got neither sigh ... Advertising for a parts manger, does that mean that Phil has left too!!! now I WOULD be upset, Ian was good with me too, theres been a lot of occasions that Phil has helped me out like... westtra Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 yep ian has been a fair bit of help for me aswell. will have to see what new service lots like next time in.
thefastone Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Ah well, although Ian has been very helpfull to me ins his fairly short time there (its only been a year-ish...) I tend to speak to kev first anyways, but it is nice to know who you are speaking to like... Glad to hear that Phil is not away after all!
kinghorn Posted December 3, 2007 Author Posted December 3, 2007 new service lot is pish, cars in for its service today, and they offered me a lift home when i dropped it off , i said yeah cheers hazlehead please and they said we can give you a lift to town lol, driver was nice tho and gave me a lift home, there is a few boys that i have spoken to not happy about the move, the service manager wouldnt even take me on this morning, just looked at the receptionist when i said hi my car is booked in, c**k
thefastone Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Hmmm thats what I was a afraid of... might be an idea to have a word with Gordon... I'm sure that he would be interested to know if his customers are not happy... I know that he likes to keep on our good side... My impression is that he likes to keep the customers happy...
Boyakasha Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Oh god help us, at least Ian was ok. As long as it's not Scott from Porsche, jesus I have had to deal with him when I took the Porker in and that in it's self is a reason never to buy another Porsche ever again!!!!!!!!!
Ginja Ninja Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Dropped the gb270 in for its 1000mile service and noticed the change of staff. Will give them benefit of doubt for now. Let them get into there new job before too many criticisms.
thefastone Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 (edited) I should think that is a given Dunk, unless Gordon has left as I think it was all worked out with him, I think thats in the bag! That said, Gordon and Kev are both still there arn't they? Edited December 4, 2007 by thefastone
mrtoad Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 It should stand whoever is there, but if not surely we could pop in for a chat Dale? I should think that is a given Dunk, unless Gordon has left as I think it was all worked out with him, I think thats in the bag! That said, Gordon and Kev are both still there arn't they?
craig mac Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 It should stand whoever is there, but if not surely we could pop in for a chat Dale? Yes the deal stands and no need to worry yourselves, It was not Gordon, However he had some involment It was the Kev and the GM of TandC that it was negotiated with.
