Wrx Headunit Removal

hey wondering if any of you have done this, am sure some have. want to take out the stock double din headunit and split the remaining space into two single din units one for gauges and the other a stereo.

anyone know what i'd need or how to go about it

Doddle. did mine in Halford's car park and put in the Forester pocket rather than gauges. Mine is 03 WRX but i assume most are similar. Remove the cup holder and pull the trim off. Happy to help if you want.

wot i did with my 53 plate sti was put single din unit in my mate then made a plate that he put the clock and alarm led in to sit below player then put pod for the defis where the clock and alarm led was have still got plate if interested
