u say im imature u saying bout mums u like a kid at school i wasnt on about racism at all act just heard that u got a shop that sells cheap things

i know what you meant. 300 bhp is safe for it at the moment till other mods ive mentioned come in. and no i dont own a shop neither does anybody else in my family. you knew i was asian from ur paint sprayer. cheap shot. you got anything else to add or can somebody come in with a little helpful info about this leak?

well u obv dont becuase ive heard that your cousin has a shop in gravesend that sells cheap car things that usually break thats wat i was on about act

well youre highly mistaken mate. i work for my money and if i chose to modify or repair my car thats my choice. its what i do. btw ive been to one meet on sun gone. and who on earth could have told you that my cousin owns a shop? you dont know me and the only person you know who knows me is your paint sprayer and he knows what i do for a living and its hard to mistake my colour isnt it? your a bit of a fraggle really arent u? coming in here insulting people about their cars and making rascial comments then trying to get out of it when you dont literally have a scooby about me or anything else. especially coolant leaks. oh and my gf lives in maidstone. shes not an inbred like yourself :rotfl:

btw its a wrx not an sti :rotfl:

well wen i saw it i was told it was an sti and it had sti seats and had sti on the paper work

well he lied to you its a wrx. i took my mechanic with me to look at it. hence gettin him down to 2g and getting bits repaired which were no biggy to someone who works on skylines, pulsars, supras and scoobs. i just made it a hell of a lot better than what it was at the beginning.

Right OK, I've read through this thread and there are no helpful comments whatsoever on here. :D

I suggest you BOTH remove all posts other than the original post or failing that, Naz please start a new thread and this one will be deleted. 20withascooby I suggest you get your backside down to one of our meets before you start mouthing off at people on the forums  , yes Naz has got an unfortunate number plate but he made the effort to come along to a meet and introduce himself which is more than you have done. I've seen his car and for someone with no knowlege of scoobys a few months ago, which he was honest enough to say I might add, he has done a great job of getting this car restored to its former glory and he hasn't just let someone else do it, he has done some of it himself, which is a lot more than most people do :rotfl: - the last owner should be flippin' ashamed of themselves for letting the car get into that state in the first place!

And lastly no matter how it is worded I will not tolerate racism against any KentScoobies member - we all have one thing in common and that is our passion for owning and modifying these cars, so please keep to the topic.

Oh, and answer to your coolant problem Naz, try the pipe on the back of the expansion tank, thats where mine was leaking from and mine was dry every day. It might be an idea to upgrade the tank just to be sure there isn't a small split somewhere thats not apparently obvious - I have to fill mine up everyday at the mo as I have the sensor problem lol so my tank is dry every morning :guinness: Try Jap Performance Parts they are very reasonable with their prices.

Can i also add one thing though...text-speak, if you read the forum guidelines HERE it says

"Post in English

When posting on the forums, please use English, this is not limited to foreign languages, but also don't speak entirely in all-capitals, or Text-speak, or foul language.

Also if you're able to speak good English, use your abilities - computers provide you with a full keyboard, and there is no need to shorten words to letters (for example you = u, and your = ur) therefore please use full words."

Some of the posts on this thread took me 2 or 3 reads before i fully understood them (could be me getting old though  ), there is no need for text-speak as this forum doesn't have the 160 character limit of a SMS message so you can make them as long as you want (within reason :guinness: ),

So come on guys lets chill out please and try to sort out j3rk's coolant problem :rotfl:

here, here, all this slating was starting to sound like one of the other well know forums.

owning a scoobie isnt all about trying to ring as much power out of a car and ripping the crap out of other people and their cars because they have chosen to mod there car differently to you......

if the leak is that small you can not see it dripping, then i would recomend adding a leak stop to your header tank and let the car run for about 10 mins on tickover. this will not harm your cooling system and will prevent any other leaks in the future. hopes this helps. Dean

(ps sorry about my poor spelling)

Thanks for the support guys. I was beginning to think being part of the scooby community was a bad thing to be in. Im quite wrong. As for my leak problem, it looks like its a pinhole in the actual rad itself. Thats given me a good reason to get myself a nice alloy one :rotfl:

About 99.9% of people on here are just brilliant and more than happy to help. I would not have stuck around so long if i'd not thought it. As for the rad, just about every classic owner i speak to has replaced there rad. Just a matter of time before they OEM model gives up, afterall, they do get a fair amount of stick.

i did try to be helpful i said about it myt be the plastic header tank becuase its a simaler problem i had. i was not being racist in anyway at all but if thats wat it lookslike im sorry.i agree its upto the owner of the car how they modify if all i said was it was in a bad way when i last saw it.and i have been to a kinda meet thank you very much.went to the esc tunnel run. and i was mouthing off becuase people seem to think im still a kid just becuase im 20 they treat me like one.saying i do a paper round and i myt be able to afford a new grill.maybe im just happy with my car way it is and just dont want to spend stupid amounts of money on it yet.
