Lambda Sensor Question

Hi all,

I need to replace my Lambda sensor as the o.e one is dead; my car is a V3 sti import at the mo the original Lambda is a 3 wire 1 black and 2 white wires.

I have bought a universal one from Cats Direct (because I can’t afford a Subaru one) it matches mine same 3 wires, 1 black and 2 white wires.

My question is I’m going to have to cut the original Lambda sensor so I can use the plug, the 2 white wires I know are heater wires, now do I have to wire one of the white wire to a specific white wire on the plug??? Or because they are both heater wires can I just wire the first white to the first white on the plug then the next white to the next one on the plug???

Hope this makes sense, thanks in advance for any advice.

Don't matter at all mate, as long as you get the black ones together. :(
