Aberdeen Rolling Road Session

Folks as there are a few of us getting our cars mapped soon by AndyF up here, Russ at Wallace Performance has come up with a cracking offer which is open to everyone.

£50 to get a before and after run on the rollers, this is basically half price as Russ will do 2 runs for each visit. Possibly looking at an evening session in the next 2 weeks or next weekend (3/4 November) with a return date to be decided.

If you interested just stick you name down on the list and your preference as to date.

Yup, I'm the same as Mark. I know what I have now so I only need an afer run. But I'll be going elsewhere for mine.

Either Japerformance or a wee run down to Dastek.

I would advise caution to anyone doing a 'before' run, particularly if you have changed parts that justify a remap. Rolling road loadings can be in excess of those experienced on the road and as a result the figures can appear quite impressive but the safety margins may be non existent.

For the best 'after' figure then I recommend you get your car tuned on the rollers. I have never targeted peak figures, the widest possible power band under live road driving conditions is my priority.

Thanks Andy, maybe I should have explained it better, the before run will be as the car runs at the moment prior to any new modifications going on.

Also understand what you're saying about how you map the cars, I think your quality of work speaks for itself. I'm only interested in seeing what I have gained as I don't have a target in mind. It's also a good excuse to get away from the other halfs and have a bit of banter.

Marc, can you find out what deal he wil do for an after run only as that is all am after as well.
