What tools do i need to fit a fuel pump to a 2006 sti, and does anyone have any other advice on doing the job apart from dont smoke B)

and open your filler cap to let the pressure out first or you squirt it everywhere :iagree:

That aint gonna do diddly squat, all that will do is relieve the vacuum in the tank.

Remove the access panel and disconnect the multiplug, try and start the car with the multiplug disconnected and now the pressure between pump and regulator is gone.

Better still do what i did and get Gordy the Subaru trained mechanic to do it

or even better, do what I did and supply the part and the car to 2 trusted subaru fellas/mechanics and get them to fit the fuel pump for you :iagree:

Im getting it from Peter (Fai 17) dont no how much yet but i hope it comes soon im going to A/Forrest on tuesday!! I will let you know how much when i find out
