Exhaust (found Most Of My Problems I Think)

Hello, think i may have found my issues regarding power, and running. The welds around my backbox have failed and is leaking. I currently have a HKS system, which has been a great system, and has only failed due to old age and several steep driveways. Been on the car since i've owned it (5 years now) and came from japan with it on too.

I've heard several Impreza's with the nur spec and they sound unreal (markie's sounding the best), so i'm thinking of getting one of these systems. My question is. Anyone know where the cheapest Nur spec supplier is?

hi m8 i bought mine second hand of this site but was brand new it was from the turbo back 250 quid the downpipe cost more than that keep an eye out on here or scooby net most people buy them not realising how loud they are in the car thats your best bet if you are on a budget cheers scoobzie

Its gotta be cheaper to get it rewelded?

Is is the joints or the seams on the actual box?

I also didn't you could re-weld exhausts. But if want a cheap Blitz exhaust http://www.nengun.com is the cheapest supplier i know, although, it take two or three weeks for them to ship it.

Its not a Blitz but I can recommend a Kakumei 3" Turbo back system from flat4online. £600 buys you the decat turbo back system with either STi style straight exit tail pipe or 5" with removable baffle angled exit tail pipe. I choose the Ti style straight tail pipe, and thats it delivered to your door too.

Sounds awesome, but beware, it is quite loud in the car @ 70-80mph.

If it's metal you can reweld the seam flat, or put a patch over it.

Admittedly, it will always 'look' like it has been welded, but if you are not going for swow and shine, it will still sound the same.

You have to get it off first though!

i had to get my exhaust welded its a stainless steel hks super drager and they done it while it was on the car think they tig or mig welded it cant memba which one and they only charged 45 pound all i needed to take was a trolly jack to jack it up coz it was a motorbike exhaust place in staplehurst.
