SiScu Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 Afternoon All, Next year will be Scooby spending time for me. I plan to Get a Sports Cat/Exhaust, Filter upgrade and remap done on my WRX Tiptronic Bugeye. I'm starting to look at places to get the work done. I will prob source the parts myself so will need a place who will be willing to fit my parts. I've heard good things of ProSport - Do they have a website? any other well respected outfits to be considered? Thanks Guys Si

SiScu Posted October 19, 2007 Author Posted October 19, 2007 PRosprt all the way - I think their webiste is under construction I must say, I've only heard good stuff in their direction so far. I will prob wait for their webpage anyways as I won't be spending the cash until April. Also whilst talking of modding. What are your thoughts to bailey's dump valves and similar, worth the bother for a reduced lag? Not bothered about the noise at all.
wrxwillo Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 If you're not bothered about the noise the standard re-circ is the best
SiScu Posted October 19, 2007 Author Posted October 19, 2007 If you're not bothered about the noise the standard re-circ is the best Cheers Willo, So are the claims of reduced lag a placebo effect then?

SiScu Posted October 25, 2007 Author Posted October 25, 2007 dont do it fella, they are plain embarrassing.....thats the bottom line Surely if the rally cars have them they must serve some kind of positive purpose or is it only really worth it when you have the crazy horses above 400?
robert_harding Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 i dont think WRC cars have em. they have anti-lag instead. what you hear on them is wastegate chatter.
blue boy Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 dont do it fella, they are plain embarrassing.....thats the bottom line Agree with Nige!
SiScu Posted November 5, 2007 Author Posted November 5, 2007 Agree with Nige! so... no dump valves it is then...hehe
