granby Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 (edited) can anyone recommend a adjustable bov to me as i need one asap got car back from scoobyclinic and i am leaking charge air on spool up Why do you need a adjustable bov, the standard one is the best IMHO, my car run smoother when i put the standard bov back on Edited October 12, 2007 by Granby
eureka Posted October 12, 2007 Author Posted October 12, 2007 cheers mate they recommended this type to stop any chance of bleeding air under any amount of boost and my bailey cannot cope with 20 psi
dazzlers82 Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 thats because baileys are s**t all they do is clog up or leak
HOL Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 Im running upto 1.5 bar on th standard DV, with no problems. Its been like that for 2 years.
dazzlers82 Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 if i was nt such a tart an liked the noise i would have stuck with a standard recirculating dump valve

prodrive tony Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 thats because baileys are s**t all they do is clog up or leak Do they?? Mines ok at the mo.
Dalthegooner Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 We had a Bailey dump valve fitted to our first Scooby and had no problems whatsoever. The is absolutely no performance difference between a VTA or a recirc dump valve.
eureka Posted October 14, 2007 Author Posted October 14, 2007 Do they?? Mines ok at the mo.mine has been ok for a year now tony i think its a drying out issue as dazzler said keep it well oiled it will be ok
