HOL Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 VF35 is a lovely turbo..I cannot answer the who to map it as I maybe classed as biased Simon I think he would much rather you mapped it Simon, but Mocom have that cheap offer going at the moment. If you price matched (For KS members)??
matthew_buckland Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 From what i have heard Simon does an excellent job in getting the best out of your car and at not a bad price, always on hand for any info needed, highly recommended.
granby Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Stick with the VF35, there will be a very slight increase in top end power with the VF34 but nothing major
Jolly Green Monster Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 if we were offering the same then I would price match.. if you check his and my Apexi mapping prices you will notice he is more expensive which could indicate something with regard to the openecu software in use? perhaps? I used to use the openecu software and switched to EcuTek for good a reason.. cost me thousands to buy the software and become an EcuTek dealer.. I don't regret it in the slightest.. much prefer the software and the extra features etc etc however I am not about to price match to something I am not offering, they are very different. The current pricing allows a decent amount of time to be spent mapping the car and getting it right.. I won't finish a car until I am happy or I will return to finish it off.. seen price wars in other industries and people think they are winning because the price is better.. but that means they have to do more jobs to get the same income, you don't get the same service.. I refuse to do that.. I would rather a car was right. You are right though I should perhaps offer a KS discount.. I'll give it some more thought but initial reaction is 10% off.. but I cannot do that on the powerfc remap price as I believe I am perhaps too cheap on that at the minute. I could perhaps also do a group buy if there was enough interest. Thanks Simon
