Hey everyone as some of you will know im new to the site

I would love to own a Subaru Sti - Actually went for a test drive in one today! She was a 06 Wrx Sti Uk spec with Pro Drive pack - OOOOOFT! Boy can it shift! lol Bit of a difference from the mk2 rs lol

Im just wondering though does anyone recomend any good insurance companies? And is there a Subaru club you can join that works alongside an inurance company if you know what I mean? Like the rsoc and they recomend Boncaster - club members get a special discount.

Iv tried confused.com and there was a few came up just testing the water tho to see if you guys know of any.

Gary Moulson at Keith Michaels is yer man - he posts on SIDC & ScoobyNet as Moley_WRX. He owns a Subaru so he knows all the mods etc.

He CAN be a bit dificult to get hold of sometimes, but it's worth persevering.

i'm with Greenlight - they were just as competitive as Keith Michaels but they've got a very reasonable track day cover, handy if you're planning to go on track but want the comfort of being insured.

Have a look at the Insurance section of Scoobynet, lots of advice there.

I know its a pain phoning around for quotes but its worth it to find the best quote for your circumstances/driving history.

Some of the big names didnt have Type RA as a registered model of Impreza and you can forget it if you've got a Jap import, they wouldnt touch me with a bargepole

I would defo try gary at keith micheals as i just took out policy with them for my95 sti wagon with mods for £650 fully comp with protected no claims!!!
