Bailey73 Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 No problem mate - you gonna buy another scooby now??
northloop Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 err no. Actually it made me more glad that I got rid of the last one I was one of the guys who took the pictures of you all at lunchtime so hopefully that will make up for the Mondeo incident In fairness there were a couple of reasonable looking cars among your lot Just a shame we had one go off (not one of yours I hope) and cause a red flag on our session
Bailey73 Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Ah well, we could only try Was it the large group shot pictures you were taking?
northloop Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 I was told the picture was for Castle Combe. Of course I have no problem with letting you guys see it, I just need to check with the other guy to make sure he is happy first
scooby princess Posted April 20, 2008 Author Posted April 20, 2008 Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOO much for braving the Castle Combe rain tunnel and staying for so long. Your generosity with the tombola and raffle as well as for the collection buckets were so well recieved. You guys really did make this a WONDERFUL day and i look forward to the next time we all get together because it feels like we have known the lot of you for years. Special thanks has to go to the Welsh member who made sure i had a hot drink - HOT CHOCOLATE!!!!!! - Very welcoming! Sorry i forgot your name! THANKS GUYS WHAT A START TO SHOW SEASON! S.P

rae_sti Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 We did notice you and Pete outside but didn't realise that you were working :rotfl:
jd Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 ignore the others, just concentrate on the enginetuner car
northloop Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Just in case you're bored you can have a watch of my track video from the day. Nothing spectacular as the weather was pretty dire and R888's don't like standing water http://media.putfile.com/Castle-combe-2008-spring-action-day
jd Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 888's in that weather, brave man. glad i changed mine the day before.
northloop Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 I think they give as much if not more grip than road tyres in the wet, it's just standing water where it gets tricky.
jd Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 drove with mine through standing water the other week, not pleasant.
