IMHO opinion thats down to the RO!

Its been made public now so I guess we will just have to wait!! Dont think I would be too happy if this was centred around me!!

I am sure the other clubs are having a good laugh at our expense reading this, like they did the T shirts!!

We should be working to make this a better club, not back stabbing and bitching!!

Like Phil said its a car club

Dont know about anyone else nut I just want somewhere "FRIENDLY" to go once a month to chat about car etc and a "FRIENDLY" team to go with on local and not so local shows.

I dont think its been all that friendly lately which is why i have gone elsewhere but if we can just get past all this nonsense i would be more than happy to help and pay a membership-

Most have not been prepared to try anything as it always seems to get shot down in flames and then its them who end up with egg on thier faces.

We may have many members but they have prob been scared off by the atmosphere within the club- I have to say if it had not been for Pele on my first ever meet at The Wharf, i probably would not have come back!!!

This should be a nice place to come...dont we all have enough crap in our work etc??

Dalthegooner has asked a question which he is entitled to do as a member, now he wasn't rude or insulting but he asked the question, the fact that this was discussed by 2 groups of people at 2 different events over the weekend shows that there may and i mean may have a valid point

As to the bad atmosphere of the club then i can't see that, in fact i would say the opposite as i feel over the last few months with new members the club has a really good atmosphere (or am i missing something)

Do you really think we are the only club to have disagreements posted on the forum, i think not, i'm not saying its correct but it does happen and what does it matter what other clubs think, i agree we do not need any back stabbing and bitching as we are all adults and hopefully we can sort this out for the good of the club

Well lets have someone make a decision about where we can have a meeting and discuss the issues raised by Dalthegooner in his opening post. Someone PLEASE just decide on a venue. a date and time and let everyone make a real effort to get there. PLEASE, let's not have someone come up with "....let's vote on it...." as an opening suggestion! Perhaps the longer standing membrs here should make that decision? An ongoing thread is not going to achieve anything......opinions have been expressed in this thread that some will agree and/or disagree with......these matters need to be addressed as soon as possible before there is any sort of fallout. So, lets sort out a meeting.

I agree with Baser here and mainly with the long standing members, you guys have been here through it all.

We cant meet say at the next meet as I think Dal mentioned fridays were not good!

Maybe it would be a good idea for either the host of the thread or Pele to suggest something...er maybe...just a suggestion!!

Hi all its been a while since i last posted on here but i have been on regularly looking and reading your all your threads. I just cant keep quiet about this one , and would like to make my option count . I am shocked at the way things have been carried forward on this topic and surely before this topic was placed on here that perhaps pele could of have been notified that this thread was going to be placed up for discussion in the first place !!!, it doesnt matter wat people say about its not directed at pele in anyway but put yourself in her shoes surely most of us would have felt betrayed by certain members and there comments . Maybe i dont drive a scoob no more (M3 power now lol ) but i do feel strongly about the manner in which this has been taken forward and back pele all the way. Lets not forget guys who`s hard work got the club up and running in the first instance and surely pele deserved to be notified before this thread was posted. Suggestion if some members are not happy with the way things are run then there is always the private message route first!!! I dont mean to offend but just imagine if your were in pele`s shoes now , this looks from the outside as a public lynching and a way of saying pele your not doing your job and lets get someone else to do it. If this is going to work then firstly pele must be kept in the pic but certainly not by way of these threads. I hope your guys sort out your problems aand see you all again very soon , thats if you can keep up with me lol

Also i would suggest that seeing as this is meeting for the position of SIDC Reginal Organiser and not KentScoobies, Phil Stevens as the SIDC chairman should also be present to air his views. Then any input can be added at the same time while the club is together.

So Phil if your out there would be able to attend ???

I have contacted the Wharf this morning and have to call the assistant Manager back after 4pm today to see whether I can get the upstairs bit allocated for us on this date.

As it stands at the moment it opens at 12 and being a Sunday gets very busy very quickly so if i am unable to get it reserved then we should aim to be there for say 11.45 so we can grab it anyway!!

Any ideas on numbers?

And only a suggestion..but anyone fancy lunch while we are there?
