ally-b Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Neil, I was contacted today by the events organisers at Lanark market who asked me to inform everyone that this weekend is the tractor show and they are expecting over 7000 visitors to the market. They had heard via Radio Clyde there would be a meet and suggested that it would be better not to meet this weekend as unfortunately it would be too busy because of the Tractor show . She said that we would be more than welcome to use their carpark etc to muster for the Memorial service or indeed any other time to pay our respects as they knew Colin well and they saw the Club presence on Sunday and would like to help us . As soon as date and times are announced for the Service we will organise SIDC/Scottish Scoobies meet . Grant (Squirrel/Squiggle) is organising a visit for some of our members who are travelling up from England this weekend - This will be fairly low-key . Cars will be assemble at Happendon services and park up and as few cars as possible will take everyone to Lanark so as to cause minimum disruption . Please contact Grant via PM for more details of this (The Squiggle) We will try our best to keep everyone updated with information via the forum . Thanks . Al.
