Windscreen

Does anyone know where I can get a windscreen for my 97 Turbo 2000 (saloon)

As I dont have the funds to pay the amount Subaru would like to charge me.

I have a traders policy which is why I dont just get it replaced on my insurance.

Not long off the phone to them and they want £470 supplied and fitted,

as they get there screen from Subaru.

They will fit new screen and remove my old one for £76, if I can find a replacement.

If you are fully comp on your insurance, check your policy it may say w?? where the ?? is the excess you pay the insurance company picks up the rest and it does not affect you NCB.

Try a local breakers to see if anyone does windscreens, chrissy got a guy to supply and fit a windscreen to his saxo (at our house) for £65. The guy gets them from breakers yard cos they have to be cut out and nobody takes them, so their cheap. Dunno if their will be many scoobs at breakers though

They're in Paisley, but it must be worth a punt and will be much cheaper than Subaru.

Already been in touch with them.

£30, which is pretty good but they want me to remove it myself.

If I can find someone with the know how/tools to do the job, then fantastic.

Shame that you are so far away as im in the trade....

...A lot of traders policies will have glass cover - I would double check with the insurance company, it is also possible to add glass cover to some policies.
