Registration Plate

Done this early this year. Take all vehicle documentation to your local DVLA office ( SIDCUP ), including tax disc. Fill out the necessary forms, pay monies and the cars old number is reissued and your personal plate is put on retention. If the car was first registered with your personal pate you will have to wait for Swansea to allocate a year related reg. Hope that helps Dunks.

what you need to do is get all your paper work together for your private reg plate, and what the old plate was. then head off to your local dvla office, if your local to sidcup, theres one there for you, grab a ticket, search for a plate transfer form, fill it in, wait for your number to be called, and see the person behind the desk, oh, and dont forget your mot certificate, and tax disc. and they sort out all the paperwork there and then, you should be able to then walk out bof there, with a new tax disc, and mot for the old reg of your car.  thats how ive done it for the couple of private plates on my cars. hope this is of help to you.....

How do you go about taking your private plate off and replacing with the old one????

Sounds like Neil's bought that people carrier..........get another private plate for it m8, how about 75 ETA? Change the font style and move the 5 up and you got yourself a 7 SETA which would be pretty appropriate lol

..............and look at all that bodywork to put Larkins Auto stickers on!  I'm sure there must be someone out there who could modify the picture......lower the suspension, side exhausts, graphics lol  I can sense Neil that you're warming to the idea of buying one lol And if it had a side awning with Kent Scoobies on it, we could use it as a base when we go to shows.....wouldn't be too much trouble to instal a small stove/toilet would it??
