Front speakers

 Evening everyone. Just a quickie really. Does anyone know of a good upgrade to the front speakers on a 2003 car? Im looking to spend around £50 tops. Also does anyone know what size the speakers are and if adaptors will be needed to fit the new ones?

A popular upgrade which i fitted on my 2004 WRX is Infinity's 6000cs, not sure if these are still available though but if they are you should be able to get them for a good price

Thanks for that, I'll look into it. Had a quick look on ebay and u can get the autoleads adaptors for about a tenner which seems good. Saw some 3 way Kenwoods which looked pretty good. They were 5.25", does that sound about right? Is there much room between the front of the speaker and the door card, all looks a bit close.[:S]

Best go for a 6.5" if possible, there is room for a 12mm spacer which you will need for most speakers

Yep, infinity's are good, but I put some alpines in, may be for sale, if I can find my originals to put back in!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi mate, I just spent £50 on those 3 way Kenwoods on Ebay and there rubbish, dont bother!!!
