thewelsho Posted August 2, 2007 Author Posted August 2, 2007 Quote Our traffic dept have new speed guns the size of hand held camcorders and are a lot more accurate than the old style. Think these ones can target the one car. Yes, it was a very small device, with what looked like two lenses coming out of it, a bit like a pair of square binoculars with a little LCD readout on the side. He did say that they can pinpoint the one car. I guess its whatever the law states regarding two cars in the frame. I'm sure you'd know better than me!!! Well, assuming your traffic that is??

Sounds like the LTI 20:20. One of these: They're not known as the "Dodgyscope" for nothing. They've been proven to track a wall moving at 58mph... Yes, a wall - of the sort that holds roofs up!

Not quite Andy. The lenses actaully protruded out on two cylinders. Also, the said device looked a wee bit smaller than that one.

Hightower Posted August 4, 2007 Posted August 4, 2007 i would check with road angel uk with regards to the road angel not alarming. i had one in the car and i got caught in alloa. the dam thing never went into alarm and when i got pulled over i asked the police to go round the front of the car and aim directly at the angel and ......nothing. turned out there was a fault in it so as you might have guessed i was not best pleased so now even with the road angel "repaired" i dont bother using it as i was relying on it and it let me down so cant trust it. Now just use the wifes eyes so i can blame her if i get caught next time!!!!!!!!!
