Help! I took off a directional valve and don't know which way it goes back on.

Please help - It's a MY98 Classic.  The directional valve seems to have ' To E/G' written on it?  I haven't a clue what this means.  This is the most important problem as I need to drive it to work tommorrow.

Phew... Thanks mate.  I took it off this morning and put it that way round after trying to decypher the workshop manual for hours last night.  I'm glad I guessed right
