woody-cdas Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 We had a little rain this morning and my car is flooded as a result. This was outside work in Carshalton. My car was parked up by the kerb and the road flooded - it must have been a 1 1/2 ft deep!. When I got in it to move it I noticed 2-3 inches of water in the passenger footwells (front and rear). I have never seen flash flooding like it and by the time I realised i needed to move my car it was too late.[:'(] So needles to say I am a little pi55ed off.[:@] I hate the weather in this country - makes me want to emigrate.
wedmonds1 Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 oh bugger. Sorry to hear that mate. I know what you mean about leaving the country. I am going to a leaving party at the weekend and they are going as they are both totally fed up with the weather...
uno turbo Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 just read your post matt, sorry to hear that, bad news is never good. had it happen at work too, i was driving our transit through tulse hill and dulwich, which were both flooded, and by the time i got back to the firm i'd flooded both footwells, and the back of the van, needless to say, i messed up some of our furnitture.. hope it all dries out for you, and that you dont get any lingering smells. all the best mate, see you soon.
