Aiming to be there for around 9:30 in a hope to get parked in the Scooby section, so leaving my sons in Abingdon (J8 of the M40) around 8:45. Probably easiest if we catch up at Prodrive isn't it?

Good day at Prodrive - looks as if this was a better day than Ian and Andy had at Honda. Arrived about 9:30 and managed to get parked up in the dedicated Subaru area along with probably 100 others, still it beat being parked in the muddy field next door lol. Although there were clearly a lot there it didn't seem that busy as it covers a large area with a lot of the workshops open as well as the outdoor activities. Demonstrations by a SWRT pit crew changing a gearbox in less than 6 minutes, the Aston Martin LeMans winning team changing the wheels on the DBR009 in around 12 seconds and then Johnny Herbert doing donuts in it! The noise that car makes is awesome. First time I've see him drive anything and finish lol.  He'd apparently given up his day especially and flown in from Monaco to take part in these demos and sign autographs [|-)] Now thats what I'd call a real hero lol. There were also SWRT cars on display in various stages of being prepared for rally, several of the Aston Martins as well as all the workshop stuff. Looks like you should have gone to Prodrive Ian ps there were also burgers, hotdogs etc etc

My sons taken some decent photos albeit on his phone and will email them over to me. Question......how do I then transfer them into this thread? If its easy enough to explain could someone please do so, failing that someone please pm me their personal email address and I'll forward it to you to do. Thanx.

What time did you leave Barry as i saw a blue classic stuck in the traffic for junction 8 on the M40 about 3:20

Probably was me and two of my lads as we'd left about 3 and went back to Abingdon - thought we'd got off at J9 though?

Might of been, it was the junction for Oxford

Spotted [Y] - it was J9 for Oxford. We were going back to Christophers in Abingdon. To save getting up at some god forsaken time this morning and picking him up on the way we stopped at his last night and didn't have to leave until 9.

There was in fact another classic just like yours a couple of miles up the road which i thought was you until i spotted the reg, then as i went past the Oxford junction i just spotted yours, seemed a lot of traffic for Oxford!!!

Despite being pointed in the right direction I still can't get the photo attachments sent with my sons email to transfer into a photobucket account [:$]  Can I please forward the email etc to someone and ask them to download the photos on to this thread for me ? Modern technology eh....someone will be telling us that we'll soon be able to make phone calls out in the street lol

You have to save the picture attachments onto your computer first Barry, then upload them to photobucket

If you have no luck just email them to me

Thanks Ian.....there were a few others including footage of Permatan Johnny Herbert doing donuts in the Aston Martin DBR9 but can't get them to email over to you. Will try and get them sorted via photobucket when I get a chance.
