STi 7/8/9 i/c dimensions ?

Hope someone can help me here please.

I'm needing the core size or I/C size ( not depth) of an STi 7 i/cooler so i can work out if the STi undertray will help me after fitting an uprated TMIC.

My standard u/tray is too wee so I'm looking at alternatives.

Was fitting the bigger intercooler much hassle ?

The one on my V2 is tiny so could do with an upgrade.

this sti 7/8/9 tmic doesn't fit the earlier phase 1 and 1.5 cars only the phase 2 cars

Yeah please explain.  I have a MY98UK Turbo and I was looking to do this.  I've been told that the later top mounts are an ideal swap out, and won't limit me as I don't want to go above 400bhp.

Phase 2 is 99/00 cars like mine and yours dale!

Ive not heard of phase 1.5, sounds daft!

Phase 1 is all classics up to 1996

Phase 1.5 is all classics from 97-98

Phase 2 is all classics from 99-00

The reason there is a phase 1.5 was that there were only minor changes from phase 1 unlike the major changes brought in for phase 2.
