scoob fae ork Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Think am havin one of those dumb moments but i cant get to the members forum with the link it just tells me forum not found [:S]
Richie Cross Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Done now, woohoo another section of the forums to browse. No idea how i could not access it before For us dafties, can you tell us the secret please?!! [:'(] I can't seem to find it. I was going to PM Phil with my details but now he's saying not to PM him!!!! Cheers
andy Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 You have to be a paid-up member to gain access. If you are, then PM Phil your username, membership number and postcode and he'll upgrade your forum account.[]
phil Posted June 22, 2007 Author Posted June 22, 2007 Nope Pm me your details i.e. Membership Numer and Postcode and I will activate it
andy Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Is this thread a wind up about members area Eh? No. It's nothing exciting. Just a request for members to fill out a little form to update their member info. I only use the members area for the high quality goat porn anyway []
Alan-G Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Dont get it. Phil. This is your software problem man ! What's the crack by telling peeps to not PM you ? Obviously the link does not work for some folk. (did you read the forum mention about Fab1 - me missus ? ) Not havin a pop Phil , but it's not the best of shows .... Andy yer a pervo...
Alan-G Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 I wanted to delete the last (above post) but Admin wont let me (fully paid member as well) Please ignore above comments,
andy Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Andy yer a pervo... Now tell me something I don't already know [] The reason for asking for users to fill the form is when they do so it's imported directly into a database. If people PM Phil with the info he then has to key it in and the poor bloke has enough to do. At least that's my understanding. [:#]
phil Posted June 22, 2007 Author Posted June 22, 2007 Alan I will happily deal with members requiring access to Members Area by PM
Alan-G Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Exactly correct Andy as I filled in the form earlier and its an automated form directly linked to database application. I think the problem here is a non direct customer link with management. Definately not a pop at you Phil - but the buck stops with you ultimately. 11,000 members x £34 a whip or so = an awfull loy of Candy, Responding to a probably poor % of subscribers by email should be pretty easy I would have thought.
Alan-G Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Again, I have tried to delete the above message. Admin will not give me permission to do this. WTF !
andy Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Phil has said don't email the requested details to him, use the link and form instead. He's not said don't PM him with any queries about the request - in fact the page in question actually tells you to contact him if you have queries or concerns! 11,000 FORUM members does not equal 11,000 paid up members. How many have avatars? (as that's the only way we can judge who are members and who are not - for now
phil Posted June 22, 2007 Author Posted June 22, 2007 Alan We are doing this to improve the situation sorry if this is not acceptable but I am trying to move the club on I wish we had 11,000 paying members they are only forum users Phil
Alan-G Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Hi Phil. I dont ever have a problem with improving services, but your previous posting re: PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT PM ME was very disleading. Its a bit like telling 100's if not 1000's of folk that the site doesn't care about their membership. Ps. did you get a chance to get back to me with Fab1's request for filling in the form ? (Again - not having a pop Phil)
phil Posted June 22, 2007 Author Posted June 22, 2007 Alan We will have to agree to disagree but you obviously don't know me well to even suggest I "don't Care" Please get Fab1 to PM if they need membership rights activated Thanks
Alan-G Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Phil chairman I touch goats Blummey - hope I didn't start a PM spam thing with you Phil ! [:S] []
