RRS 555 Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 First, a big THANK YOU to Andy, Kevin and Paddy at AWD in Perth who worked incredibly hard on my Scoob on Saturday(the whole day!). The Defis are great and I can now monitor everything Andy Forrest made happen. The new brakes caused a wee bit of excitement. See what you think-----
RA Dunk Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 very nice set of brakes dude [Y] rather that went onto your visa than mine lol [:|]
colzo Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 Nice one mate, if they don`t stop you nothing will! Defis are a nice touch too. [Y]
RRS 555 Posted June 18, 2007 Author Posted June 18, 2007 You know how marginal the standard Classic brakes are. She should stop on a sixpence now.[]
frank c Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 Stunning piece of kit mate. What size are they ? they look HUGE
RRS 555 Posted June 18, 2007 Author Posted June 18, 2007 6 Pot calipers with 355mm floating discs. They are huge--didn't think they would fit although I was assured all I needed was 18inch alloys.[]
z1000 Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 Look great and was wondering if you had to uprate the master cyclinder to cope as i fitted my wilwoods today and am having problems getting a solid pedal. steve
RRS 555 Posted June 18, 2007 Author Posted June 18, 2007 No I asked about that and was told it was ok. Pedal feel is good. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
st3ph3n Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 Those the litchfield/powerstation sourced 6 pot Porsche branded APs then? Very nice indeed.
