scoob fae ork Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 Hey folks on me Scoob at the mo i have the PPF7 alloys and a 225 40 18 tyre and i was wondering if its possible to go to a 235 40 18 with out scrubbing and affecting the handling the car has also been lowered around 40mm from standard. Any help welcome []
thewelsho Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 I have a similiar setup. I don't have the proper PFF7's though, just copies but I do have 18s 40 and 225s lowered on Teins. I do get a tiny bit of rubbing at 20+ mph with full lock, so I'd reckon you might get some rubbing with 235s.
the blue dragon Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 I have inovite redlines 8 x 18, on 235's, also lowered on teins, and yes you do get a bit of rubbing on full lock as with johns. Iain
cusco kid Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 ian if you want to go 235 you will have to go 35 series tyres to get the clearance //ride quality will suffer though 40 series will cause you problems geo[H]
