Despite the odd case of 'spirited' driving, we were spotted by officials and invited back to the festival next year. The best bit is it is completely FREE! I will update when i find out the details but it would be great to have a decent turn out of Scoobies and Jap turbos especially when it wont cost anyone a penny!! -

Probably be down for about 2.30pm to give everyone a chance. it's Sunday after all. lol[] -
Just an idea (very short notice I know) but I've just been down to the transport festival and it really looks like it could do with a few Scoobies (Or Jap cars in general) to liven things up a bit. There looks like there is loads of room to get a nice group of jap cars on show and it would be a good chance for local Impreza owners to get together and have a chin wag. The location is Barony Playing fields which are in the centre of Nantwich (If you know where Nantwich is you'll kvow where the Barony is) It would be good to see all Jap performance cars so if you know anyone then invite them along! My mobile is 07919 376 969 so call/ text if you are interested!! Cheers, Andy []

DEPT OF TRANSPORT INITIATIVE RE-LAUNCH, MAY 2006. Information Release. Due to the nature of the quality of driving in England the Department of Transport has now devised a new scheme in order to identify poor drivers and give good drivers the opportunity to recognise them whilst driving. For this reason as from the middle of May 2006 those drivers who are found to be driving badly which includes: - overtaking in dangerous places; - hovering within one inch of the car in front; - stopping sharply; - speeding in residential areas; - pulling out without indication; - performing U turns inappropriately in busy highstreets; - under taking on motorways and - taking up more than one lane in multi lane roads, These drivers will be issued with flags, white with a red cross, signifying their inability to drive properly. These flags must be clipped to a door of the car and be visible to all other drivers and pedestrians. Those drivers who have shown particularly poor driving skills will have to display a flag on each side of the car to indicate their greater lack of skill and general lower intelligence mindset to the general public. Please circulate this to as many other motorists as you can so that drivers and pedestrians will be aware of the meaning of these flags. Department of Transport. []

I tend to acknowlege other scooby drivers but most of the younger owners (I am one at 25) suddenly turn into the Fonz when they get behind the wheel of their scoob and are too pre-occupied by trying to look cool to notice anyone else. lol They usually have shades on with one hand draped over the top of the steering wheel shit hair and their seat reclined like a deck chair! You know who you are~!! [H] [^o)]

Hello mate - are you from Crewe? Were you at the Mill st traffic lights coming on to Nantwich road today (24th) at about 1pm per chance?? Spotted an impreza that looks like your avatar thats all. -
surely they will treat 4x4 'off road' vehicles differently to 'cars'. I have had to sacrifice enough allready to buy & run my Scoob and my tax is due at the end of this month. Please Gordon - dont be a complete tw*t?!

I used them before for putting cams and a new clutch/ fidanza flywheel in my Nissan and they were decent but very expensive. John the owner will chat to you and is very helpfull and knows his stuff the other employees are on some kind of 'dont chat to customers' policy that probably works for efficiency but I find it unhelpfull and unfriendly. Just my experience. They are only 3 mins drive from me but i prefer to use mail order or even tweeks for parts due to £. -

Just saying hello - I live in Nantwich and have just bought a WRX hatch in silver and am over the moon! Its my second Scooby as I also own a UK estate 1800 that is up for sale now. Have been into performance modifying for a while on other cars and am looking to make her a little bit faster with the usual mods and get her mapped up by the end of the year. I'll be interested to hear of any trustworthy specialists in the area also for stuff that I dont want to attempt. lol I have a WRX number plate so if you see me give us a toot!
