Thanks....that's explained good, the thirstiest car Iv'e had so far (dont laugh) was a probe the V6 that was (as I thought) a guzzling feker, but again quick off it's mark (well it was to me at the time), i did drive the Outback but it wasnt a turbo. I'm due to take a test in a wrx est at the wk end at a dealer but it's mile's away, but honestly I dont know if I'll bother with one if that's the kinda mileage there getting, I'll really need to think about it. Cause like I say Iv'e got the bike too, and NO car on these roads will keep up a good sporst bike...[]

Personally I don't do a huge number of miles, and I see the car as a "hobby" as well as a mode of transport. A tank a week =£200 a month, which doesn't cripple me - simple as that. If you smoke a pack of fags a day, you're pretty close to that. I don't smoke - so there's my justification!! []. I don't know if you do smoke, but if you do, just give up then you can afford the fuel bill ! I dont smoke or drink...... But I do have a bike to keep up......[]

If you're looking for economy, you're looking at the wrong kind of car! The EVO's and Skylines are even worse!! I'm not saying that but I honestly though it would get slightly more the my 2,8 that's all, with it being a 2.0, obviously I'm totaly wrong, but as I said above.....why are they so thirsty.

All I can say you peep's must have bloody good payn job's and not bother at all what you get mpg wise.

Good god!.....I know the merc's a totaly diffirent drive than the scoob's, but even at those figure's I'm deff getting more from the 2.8 merc than you lot, I dont drive like a learner but I dont scream about either. I think I'm gona have to think about this.......just why are they so greedy...

So about 23 on average then, and that'll be the turbo's eg wrx...so if you drive it they way it's designed your into the late teens.....christ that's worse than my 2.8 merc auto...ffs

What kinda mpg I can expect from 2.0 wrx if driven "normal" eg no racing, cheers......or the 2.0 non turbo.

Iv'e ended up getting a better (not much though) deal from Dickson's only thing is there in Inverness.....not exactly "up the rd and round the corner"..[]
