Yeah its not cheap but i read so many stories about people selling them as they are fed up with the noise that i thought i would be proactive. There is a chap on ebay that ships internationally so you can pick it up cheaper. Fingers crossed i should end up getting it. I am also planning to fit it (with willing volunteers) as it looks pretty straight forward. If i fit it on my own then listen out for this really bad noise coming down the road.... it wont be a broken bus, it will me be []

He is not going to be able to make tonight as something has come up. He is selling his car at the moment (Audi A3) and someone has called up and said they will take it. Trouble is he has to meet them in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Bath and then get the train back. He would have arranged it for another night but he is on holiday next week and really needed the car to be gone. Sounded pretty genuine to me and sends his apologies to all. I was trying to negotiate some better prices with his as his standard rates are £45 a panel and he had already said that if we can get 3 or 4 panels in one spot that he will do it at trade price which is £25. I reckon he may well do them even cheaper if we can get more people together. I have also talked to him about it being a more regular thing for Kent Scoobies or even SIDC as a whole in the south at least. He has booked Saturday 12th May in his diary as a possible day to sort out any dents we want to get done. So, if you are interested in getting your dents sorted out or looked at then this is the earliest day. I would therefore like to start a list below of who is interested and can pencil in the 12th to meet up someone (yet to be decided): 1.

Found a company... £150 fitted... Pulse Audio down in southend... Bit far but i have it on good authority that they are good. Something i found out... you need to check with you insurance company before fitting as it may invalidate it. Something to do with messing with alarm. Greenlight insurance (who i am with) said its fine in my case as they see it as additional security but dont give you anything more off.

Its an anti car jacking device.... Lots of information on the web about it if you do a search under clifford alarms. You basically tap in a code to disable it when you get in the car and if you open the car door while the engine is running. If you dont (or you car is stolen or jacked) the would be thief drives of down the road and then 60 seconds later the car effectivley breaks down with lights and alarm flash!. Thief runs of, cannot get near you because you are out of harms way and then you just walk down the road and collect your car. Well, that the plan.
