  1. 22mm front and 24mm rear will give another dimension to the balance and grip again.
  2. www.gofastbits.com All the Whiteline dealers should have these..........
  3. Hi, Unfortunately, because of the contracts with our dealers, we can not deal direct with the public. Also, I wouldn't want to blatently advertise our brands on a public communication board. I think that would not be correct............. However, I can try to give my opinions on technical issues and mention other brands that I don't have any business interest in, like K-Mac. (their website is working again) Cheers
  4. I was, last time I checked. :-)
  5. www.k-mac.com but the site seems to be down at the moment......... Anyway, they work well for most cars, including the Rex. I fitted a set to a BMW535diesel, together with some thicker roll bars and it turned the house on wheels from an understeering pig to a relatively pleasant vehicle, now doing 8min40 round the ring with traffic on road tyres.
  6. I would go for KW version 3. Better all round damper with independent bump and rebound adjustment. I found the Tein Basic to lack low speed bump damping and have excess low and medium speed rebound damping. All in all not much grip and slightly to much uncomfort. Just my opinion........................
  7. True in the UK. Most other EU countries like Holland and Belgium do use them forward flashing as well. Infrared flash instead of normal flash though..............
  8. The GFB quickshift is the best one in my opinion. www.gofastbits.com About £120 plus vat.
  9. Hi, I have noticed a 'steering knock' on quite a few, when the steering gets loaded up during cornering. We replace the steering rack bushings with the Whiteline steering rack bushes. This seems to cure that problem. Cheers Job
  10. Hi, As far as I am aware, all used cars bought from a trader, should have a minimum of 6 months warranty as per a European ruling last year. The trader must also be able to prove that the fault was not present at the time of delivery. Better check with you citizens adice or trading standards. In your case it will most likely be a MAF sensor fault that will have developed over the last few months. Good luck
  11. Hi, The Whiteline demo road car runs on Control springs, front & rear adjustable heavy duty anti roll bars, anti liftkit, front spherical bearing adjustable droplinks, rear alloy droplinks and front strutbrace. Oh, and Michelin Pilot Sport 2 rubber. I find that it makes a great daily driver, comfortable (i'm an old git) loads of grip in wet, dry and anything in between as well as having a good balance for the odd trackday. Of course you can go a lot further, but you start changing the compromise that suspension is. Normally comfort is sacrificed as well as grip in the wet etc. in order to squeeze the last few tenths for the track days. What would you rather have: a car that is right for 99% of it's use and slightly lacking for 1%. Or a car that is right for 1% of the time and compromised for the other 99%? Suspension is a compromise which feels different for different people. Ask your local Whiteline dealer if you can drive the Whiteline demo car to give you some ideas. I'm sure something can be arranged. Cheers Job
  12. I think if you ave a standard 19mm ?? recirc hose it might be marginal. If it has the 30mm it should be ok. Cheers
  13. Hi mate, Your car drove nice. It was quite relaxed over all the lumps and bumps of the Fife roads, wasn't it. Good car for decent progress over the B and C roads without needing the attention of an osteopath afterwards. Cheers
  14. From next week the STi7 will be hard to miss. It is getting rather loud signwriting all over it. Whiteline demo road car.......... Cheers
  15. The best one to get is the GoFastBits Deceptor Pro. With that one you get an in car adjuster to vary from VTA to recirculating and anywhere in between. http://www.gofastbits.com/index.php?parent...on=deceptor_pro Better quality than most others as well. Cheers
  16. That would be me then. Cheers Job
