Its great to see these projects going ahead, love to see what can be done. Great engine, cant wait, Just fitted those Perrin roll bars Gramp's, stiff is a understatement!!! -
Just want to say what a good all round car we all have. This year Ive driven to Paris, New Forrest, Lake District and a Brands track day with not one hiccup!! (except Mondays puncture on a log!!). Oh well, going to treat myself to some Yoko Parada Spec2's. Anyone had these??

I believe I can get 290mm discs If I buy the later 2 pot rears. Spacer brackets are needed but are quite cheap. Aound £300 the lot.

Sorry to hear that, I feel Ive spoken to the same few people at meets. C'mon guys and girls, more bonding needed. Eveyone in the VW GTi club were very friendly and approachable. Its not the Pors*he Owners Club you know!!

Anyone know the best options on rear brakes, the Brembo conversion is far to expensive. I have the solid non vented discs at present with single pot caliper. Thanks.

Great day, got 8 laps on my first track day with the scoob. Managed to catch and overtake a few including a blobeye Sti, had troubles with a quick wagon! You certainly find your limits though, my race lines were rubbish and the car was twitchy at fast corners. Pic's and vids to follow..........
