  2. Cheers Yogi.........Maf is clean and fine, cleaned it when I fitted filter. Ive found out the plastic tube to the vacuum guage gets sucked shut and this is part of the vacuum pipes so could affect the idle apparently?? I'll keep checking.
  3. Managed to get MOT done today first time since the sport decat was fitted....Took a while to pass though Has anyone tried fitting LED brake bulbs in their car?? Got some but they don't work?? Any idea's?? Anyone recommend a garage near Dartford for engine faults and rough idle problems?? Cuts out at lights. Cheers guys.

  22. Eratic 800/1100rpm's up and down, been rough for a while.
  23. The plot thickens. Just checked SIDC site and see the section on fault finding (amazing info). Ive connected the two black connectors under steering wheel to read fault code. With ignition on you count the flashes 10 = 1.2 sec flash and 1 = 0.2 sec flash. I'm getting 3 long and 1 small so 31 = Throttle Position Sensor Circuit!! This happens to be where the wiring was sliced apart by my engine builder in BrandsHatch. When he had my car after engine rebuild problems he said it was the ECU, and this this took 4 weeks to resolve!! When I suspected his wiring skills, bare wires etc from a previous bodge attempt, I though he was pulling a cheeky one. No wonder after I bought a new ECU he wanted to keep my old ECU the Wan*er!!! Well I'm going to have to maybe rewire and check sensor I suppose??
  24. Cheers Skuzz, will look and let you know. May have a dodgy waterpump, hence the squeak so Im going to investigate.
  25. Went for drive earlier first time in 2 weeks and have developed a few major problems I think. I had a misfire on and off for a while now but finally I have an engine warning light so maybe it can be traced easily?? Anyone have a fault reader etc thats mobile?? Probably more concerning is a squeak from the passenger side cam belt/pulley inside cam cover?? Damaged belt or pulley maybe? I had a new belt fitted 2000 miles ago?? Best not drive it I guess?? To top it off I have a squeak when I depress the clutch pedal which sounds like its coming from under the bonnet. Any help on anything I will be most grateful as always. Thanks once again.
