well no one should miss me now

another wee update wheel bearing replaced on the rear after it lunched itsself on a test run, think after sitting for a couple years something must have been a bit sticky
so it should be taxed on the 1st and after a couple weeks driving and sorting out any niggles it will be on track.
also should make a dundee meet next month if there is one

mot passed today, needed to adjust the headlights, and a couple advisorys (exhaust noisey)

temp exhaust repair last night till i get decat, might take it for mot this week, checked it all over and all seems well

kev all you need is a 12, 14, 17 and 19 mm and a couple screwdrivers, subarus are easy to rip apart,

well shes nearly there, just need to sort exhaust leak and hook up a breather pipe thats missing

so far i have spent nothing in the way of mods for mine, its still even got the 2 pots on it, gonna get it road legal(just) run it about a few weeks then track it, see how it goes before spending money.

i was a big fan of the last one, still have the image in my head of all 4 wheels spinning after we had to do a bit of an emergengy stop for an oncoming bus then you just hammered away. ahh i miss subaru runs (even thou i was on 2 wheels)

oh and the car still hasnt reached the 300 quid mark yet, so still cheap at the moment, hopefully have it moted in next month or so just need a decat pipe now cause original downpipe has split

fresh plugs and fresh fuel, running pretty good now, next up is flush the old oil out
been tidying the car up a bit and making it look a bit more track slag, also did the brakes on one side tonight, and after sitting so long everything still works perfect, almost like new tbh, so a clean up and grease and wee paint up, job done

customer service was good when i have used them, i bought a set of wheels that cracked and they replaced them no problem at all

well it still looks the same sort of, got new plugs the day, so they will be fitted tomorrow night and need to put fresh fuel in it
will take pics tomorrow.

few things done the night
starting off the key rewired a bit of the car, fuel cut off switch, fixed the dash problem (battery/oil pressure cel etc wernt working, put lower drivers dash in, fitted fuel pump/sender and cover, fitted momo steering wheel, changed the fuel filter, wired up rear fog

hopefully will be on the road soon ish maybe even pop to an sidc meet again....
i miss the banter at times, mind the car with the amazing mods that made it the fastest scoob in europe or something......then got hosed on

rs grant broke them taking them off the car. so they were binned

dont really know the guys down there apart from woody thats now on the parts dept and i must say at least they contacted me about parts and helped me out over some things, he is also doing deals on parts and servicing if anyone is interested

removed air con, and sorted out some other bits and a couple homers....been a busy sunday
