Many happy returns for today, have a whale of a time

I filled up with tesco 99ron whilst seeing my kids down in Portsmouth (only 92.9p by the way). Found it to be excellent compared to Optimax, brilliant throttle response, no hesitation etc....

Aint it typical, i go out of my way and get some Optimax from Bluebell Hill, then find on the way home this morning that Ham Hill have now got some....such is life

Thanks for that Hol, wondered how far i would have to go to get some. Just seems strange that they have not got any. Although it is a very busy station what with the number of trucks that run in there to fill up with DERV i can't understand why they should still have supply problems.

Getting p**sed off now, still no Optimax at shell Ham Hill in Snodland, had to put a tenners worth of normal unleaded in to keep me going, fortunately still had a quarter of a tank of Optimax left so should not do any harm. Surely they can't still be behind with deliveries??

Tried to fill up again this morning (4am) still no Optimax at Shell Ham Hill in Snodland, down to under a quarter of a tank, may go up to Tesco in Gillingham later today to fill up with some 99ron, even though it's 99.9p, same as Optimax.

Sorted it thanks Hol, it was the fuse in the footwell, dunno what caused it but not had a problem for 3 days (and nights) now. Just as a side issue, apart from my speedo head clock lights, none of the surrounding ones work, ie. the rear screen heater, the hazard light switch, the fog light switch etc... are these normally backlit when the headlights are on???

Anyone heard anymore on possible fuel blockades??? I pulled into the Shell garage on the way home hoping to fill up just in case and they had no pumps available at all, and that was at 3.30am

Thanks for the diagram Hol, i think it shows the fuse box in drivers footwell above the pedals. As for the bright switch i don't have one but thanks for the suggestion.

Hi all, i have a small problem. Having left my girlfriends house late last night i noticed my dashboard lights were not working. No problem with headlights. Got home and checked the fuse in the fuse box under the bonnet, fuse ok. Any ideas please?? Is there another fuse in the interior fuse box and if so where is the fuse box located?? I have not fitted anything electrical recently. Thanks in advance for your help. Mark
