Ive been through all that lot already it happened 2 months ago. just need it on the road again. the garage are a shower of tossers had the cheek to fail it on emmissions after it was broke. it could take 6 months in legal time and even then i dont want them to sort it
Who were the garage save others the heartache.
As for box was there not a prob with the 5 speed classic boxes whereby the nut on the end of the shaft with fith and reverse on coming losse and and so unaligning the gears causing a jam.
Think Arch knows bout this if hes on here still
Either way that box has to come out.

whats it doing jammed in that high a gear if its meant to be left for mot
should only be 1st and 2nd gear to take from mot bay to ramp
gear lever shouldnt be anywhere near the right hand side of the car
no reason to take car for a test drive if in for mot
have you noticed milage rise on the car?

i had bad experience from ace tyres took chunks out sidewall on my landrover tyres when changing over tyres to new wheels,
place seemed a carry on ill never go back or tell anyone to go there.

that seems a hell of a bill for doing the head gaskets, there are loads of threads on Snet bout hawkeye HG going and the guys were paying around 800-900 for the job maybe get a second quote from another garage.

plugs or fuel pump, panel filter poss?

yup a 330d touring now bout to get it mapped and start playing wonder what it will be like at knockers.
the hawk is now owned by big fud off Snet and is being run in with a fully forged engine with nice cosworth parts lol think its running a solid 400/400 or more and will be competing at scooby sprint when its not lapping the Ring.
and yup they def do sport cats at stainless creations

go see the guys at stainless creations down bankside they are really good and have done a good few scoobs
They take there time and care about the job they do they can build the full lot with sport cat too, any tail pipe and noise you want def worth talking too.

it was similar to prodrive not so much louder just a bit of a deeper tone was nicer you could hear it better but it wasn`t intrusive at all.

i got mine off ebay in as new condition for bout £80 keep an eye on there bud or in scoobynet for sale general.

a 2.5 bb will bolt on to a 3 inch centre but its really pointless as it will just be a choke point bud
i felt that the prodrive box was really restictive when i took a afterburner vortex off mine.
if i was you bud id take a look at hayward and scott or tsl H&S do a prodrive style BB in 3" pipe im sure and tsl do a similar one in 3" sure its called Group n bb
iv had the group n tsl jobbie and it was really nice looking and not loud at all just a nice burble with a bit of a bark flat out crusing around it was same as prodrive noise level wise.

the standard hawkeye clutches are shit gumball when big fud took mine out at 26k miles it was done and that was standard power.
