Thats what I think. What i found difficult was that it was like i was fighting the 4 wheel drive... it felt like the power was shifting from one wheel to the next. Not good.

Have you ever had your scooby get out of hand?

I have recently had a very scary and seroius experince where I completely lost it in the wet. I wasnt doing anything mad and was within speed limits but whilst changing lanes and accelerating I suddenly found that I had a loss of traction followed by pretty violent fish-tailing. It was all very scary and unexpected. My tyres are ok etc and I have been driving scoobys for 3 years now.

Was going to go but realised I had agreed to go to centerparcs with my other half on the same weekend. Doh!

Is it worth booking for one of the stands? What is it like for beer and food in the grounds?

By chance I had a go with one of these tonight. A friend bought one a few weeks ago. Good fun.

I got 0-60 in 4.9 and 60-0 in 119 feet. I of course didnt get a standing qtr time since that would have been illegal

What does everyone think of the official subaru website? Its had a facelift recently but some things like the used car search are the same.

Anybody out there fitted a dual guage door pillar replacement? Thinking of fitting one with a defi boost guage and oil pressure guage.

Wasnt sure about it because it was so basic... didnt even have electric windows. It was also white with gold alloys and pink decals which made it look a bit hairdresser.

Didnt drive it because I wasnt really serious at the time.

Would you buy the 202 again? What re you thinking of next? (your going to say the type 25 with NOS arent you)

ps for aire read air

wouldnt the aire flow be in the wrong direction. Ie the fast air flow over the bonnet would mean that the aire pressure is lower over the hole so that it would be sucking air out of the engine pulling hot air across the aire filter? Could be talking boll*cks here

Thought it was odd that they didnt use the spec c since they rated that higher than the p1 recently. Still would kick one out of my garage in the morning though.

Do the subaru main dealers have any idea what it is? Can you get parts etc.

How powerfull?

How much torque?

6 gears or 5?

Drove the sti but preferred the low down grunt of the wrx ppp. Have heard of a s202 going for 19000 with low mileage. No idea what a good price will be. Liked the idea of the 202 since it looks to be the spec c but with a few creature comforts though.

Going to look at a spec c this week.

Has anyone seen the news article in the latest copy of auto express. Apparently Subaru plan to fit black boxes in Subaru?s to track whether aftermarket mods have ever been applied to cars even after they have been removed! This is aimed at stopping warranty claims from cars with unofficial mods!

Been thinking about changing my car. Considering either a used s202 an imported Spec C or an 03 Sti PPP. I've looked at an older spec c in the past and it was a bit bare (and white!). Never seen an s202 in the flesh and wonder how they compare to drive vs the new spec c. Any thoughts / advice?

Bought my 03 wrx a few months ago with the PPP. Was wondering if anybody has done any performance mods to one and what they thought of them?

on a slightly more serious note... is it just me or does everybody on the motorway drive at 90mph these days? Regardless of rain/fog/ drum brakes..
