About xtreme

  1. Videos now being uploaded! http://www.youtube.com/XtremeKartingFalkirk
  2. Cracking session, really enjoyed it! 1st time out in the car after some engine trouble but after some new internals, new SC and remap it was going well. Have lowered the rev limiter until the engine has had a good run, this was a bit of a pain as was hitting it in third going down duffus / through the chicane and the gear changes were a bit frantic till I got used to it! So much for gently running the car in Was trying to take it easy but easy to get caught up in the moment! Had a good tussel with the black exige s and a few scoobs - have it on video so will get it uploaded to youtube shortly! Once the car is run in and the rev limiter adjuster back up / car remapped it should be good for 300+ so need some more sessions quickly now its back on the road! Afraid I caused one red when there was an electrical problem / misfire coming out the pit lane - cleared after the ignition was restarted??? Will need to get this checked. As usual with SIDC excellent day, good driving and excellent marshalling (made a big difference they were on the ball with blue flags) Quickest lap was 1.01.70 - pleased with that given I was meant to be taking it easy Good pics as well! That TVR was awesome ! Cheers Barrie
  3. cc's accepted! As for the pass oot that may be more difficult Derek - hope you have sobered up from Thursday... Will get in touch re the matching scheme - never thought about that, am sure I could get more "involved" to raise even more money!
  4. Folks Anyone insterested in forming a team for an endurance race at xtreme Karting in Falkirk? We have had a team pull out at late notice and are looking for a new entry? Xtreme Karting is a new indoor karting centre in Larbert, and following the recent tragic events associated with the Tsunami in Asia we have decided to hold a charity endurance race night in aid of the DEC Tsunami appeal fund. We will be holding a charity race night on Tuesday 8th of February at 6pm, allowing 8 teams of 6 drivers to race against each other in a 2 hour endurance race. Strategy, team management, tactics, and skilful driving are all required to see which team can complete the most laps during the endurance event. Guaranteeing an exciting race experience for all participants, whilst raising funds for a very worthy cause, the winning teams will climb the podium at the end of the race event for their team medals! The cost per driver is only £37.50 (£225 / team) and All the race entry fees from this event will be donated to the DEC Tsunami appeal fund. The event will raise a minimum of £1800 for the appeal fund. If you would like to be involved and enter a team please contact Barrie at Xtreme Karting on 01324 579797 or Barrie@xtremekarting.co.uk If you have any further queries please feel free to call.
