Maybe he thinks that the original ks members felt they had a god given right to waft in from extended absences and assume they were still in control, when actually, things were running very smoothly without them on SIDC.
No one has ever been in control....end off. This is a club for the members, run by the members. Some people take the lead and some follow, thats life ! No one has ever told me what and when to do things on this site or any other for that matter.
I visit this site on a regular basis, maybe not to post, but i always know whats going on. I only ever post when ive got something constructive to add, so does that make me one of the ones "waft in from extended absences ", i dont think so. I have been part of this club since 2003, not always in a road going scoob, but part of it none the less.
The club has only been subject to all of these "issues" in the last few years, never a problem before then! So how long have you been a member? and i cant remember seeing you at a meet recently?
Im sure some of the original members will look in at sometime and post their feelings on your thoughts also.

The thing that makes me sad is the way the nobs went about stealing good people away from a forum that has worked so hard in creating what only can be described, as a great comunity.
Shame on you..
Yet another "keyboard hero" statement from the man who has done his upmost to disrupt the forward movement of www.Kentscoobies.com . Its statements like the one above that give us, the long term members of this club, the drive and enthusiasm to make the new forum as good as any other.
If you would like to name the so called "nobs" as you put it, then im sure we could arrange a meet to discuss this statement at further detail....rant over.!!

F*@k all this sh@eeet, sounds to me that some people are way too serious and need to realise that we are ONLY a small group of people who live in the Kent region and it's not about the club or even the car, or even the forum, but it's all about the people in it that makes it a place worth while.
Stop it!!!!!
or leave, end of, as noone is interested in who's been here the longest or who's car is the fastest and who's the leader, grow up and get on with it (no offence like) and enjoy the company of the people, as the car comes 2nd IMHO, you understand
All I would like is to meet up and go with the flow, if someone suggests going somewhere or wants to try something then all well and good to me.
Love thy scooby, live long and prosper
I'm off now to do some tiling now
You crack me up.... It was your comment of "Lets do our own meets as SIDC Kent Region and tell ksdotcom to.... " thats basically upset everyone!
You need to read some of the other posts about this subject on this forum before drafting posts like above telling us all how we should behave !
Rant over!

It seems to me that the majority of people on here want to try and get along.
There are a few individuals who come along , stir up a hornets nest and then leave the thread.
These individuals may think they are just posting to raise a laugh, but its a forum and wriiten comments can be intrepreted very differently to spoken ones.
I would suggest that if everybody WANTS to get on, and POTENTIALLY move forward, we all think seriously about our comments before posting. And yes that means me also.
As a group , i think everybody needs to get together as one and bash heads until it is resolved, otherwise this will just continue in one way or another...
Feedback would be appreciated.
