12 months is a conservative figure. The companies making the octane boosters will take into account that there will be a delay in the production date to sale. We sell a lot of things like that, so from us you should get longer than 12 months. We buy boxes of various Millers octane boosters every week or two, so it should be pretty 'fresh' when we get it. What sort of deal are you looking for on the octane boosters? The best I can do is by sending a whole box/boxes to someone and they then divide it up between everyone else. What is the technical reason given for not using synthetic for 12000 miles? Seems crazy to me when 90% of synthetics are in fact petroleum based and not synthetic (man-made) at all. I cannot see any reason why you should not switch to a synthetic as soon as possible and get the benefits especially as more than 70% of all cars worldwide now leave factories with synthetic in the sump.
