Here are your answers in full (but shortened thanks Ally) 1. The RB5 stands for Richard Burns and YES his car was number 5. It commemorated the return of Richard Burns to the Rally and camp!! There was only 444 RB5 produced and they cost new £24,995 when first built in March 99, However prodrive did a performance version of the RB 5 and it had better engine response with a 238 power output! 2. The terzo was the 'third' special edition made in the UK in april 1998. 'Terzo' actually means third in Italian and it was called this to celebrate the Impreza's third succesful victory in the WRC manufacturers title. There were 333 Terzo's made however if you live in Switzerland the terzo was marketed and called the "collection". 3. The STI type RA means Rally Applicable thats why they came with the roof mounted vents. They were also made to be very lightweight for Rally purposes. And only came in white!!! Wullie

no prob grant i will think about it. i do an oil change every 3500 or 4000 miles so i think i am all right. 1 reason i dont want to put the recirculating valve back on is cause i have a book for the subaru by chris rees and that say for the my 97 my 98 it has problems with the valve not closing properly. with mine been the my 97 i dont know ??? wullie

well see all the talking about the dump valves am gonnae take it off and remove my k&n and put in a panel filter back on. wullie

have put this up in general as well. can any body help looking to buy the proper gauge pillar mount for the driver side classic my 97 wagon pillar mount. the pillar mount i am looking for is the tripple that replaces the exsisting pillar cover that is there. thanks wullie

sorted day out i enjoyed myself but i defo think there speed and timer was fu@@ed my times was s@@t according to what they have put up so i am not happy i know i done a lot better. the last time i was at crail the best i got was 13.8 at 98mph car standard apart from the k&n filter. now 14.06 at 98mph with full decat optimax with a bottle of millers bigger scoops. on that run i past the speed sensor at 104 mph so i dont know where they got 98mph but it made up for it the way up and the way home. wullie

the mini was so easy after painting it just removed the 3 nuts on the mini and put the new one on. the sti 8 scoop was good to put on the company that i got it from had marked the holes on the bottom of the scoop so it was juast a case of drilling the 6 holes and remove the old scoop new 1 on and new nuts and bolts and that was it sorted. all in it was about 15 - 20 mins to fit both. wullie

i purchased 2 scoops from dr motorsport i got the sti 8 scoop and the mini scoop and i am well chuffed. wullie
