A taxi passenger tapped the driver on the shoulder to ask him a question. The driver screamed, lost control of the car, nearly hit a bus, went up on the footpath, and stopped centimetres from a shop window. For a second everything went quiet in the cab, then the driver said, "Look mate, don't ever do that again. You scared the living daylights out of me!" boab i had a rover coupe too, t-bar. was very quick and i loved it .........but the engine just kept pi$$ing oil so i got rid. Would have another one (as well as a scooby turbo of course) in a flash. Nice alloys on it, and it looks like it's been lowered ? [H][H]

he didn't say when he'd be in touch, although when i spoke to him at 4, he said he was just going to see Gerry (the 1st guy who interviewed me) so i assume i will maybe hear tomorrow - either way. []

thanks everyone. i am sitting here reflecting - and a few things are bothering me. we didn't really discuss salary - and if he was gonna offer me the job, would we not have talked a bit more about it? i called him back at 4pm to say that my work will accept 2 weeks notice instead of the 4 weeks i had previously stated. He said " oh thanks for that, but it doesn't really matter" I am assuming from this that it doesn't matter cos i dont have the job. so am unsure now. as i said i did my best - but maybe i don't have what they are looking for.
