Sorry to hear that Dougster. I'd not heard of other alarms being affected. Might be worth talking to a Toad dealer to see if the ECU can be recoded or replaced. It is something to do with the frequency of the alarm and the masts, but I know of someone who has a problem in the local safeway! But there is a mast nearby!

No mate, it's the Alarm ECU that is needed. I think Sigma will only supply to the Dealer Network though and you will need to supply Vin details etc.

There is a solution to the problem. The only alarms affecting Subarus are the Sigma ones. If you contact your local dealer they should be able to get you one free of charge. You will probably have to pay for them to install it but worth it in the long run. (It only happens around the new aerial masts, especially around police stations!)
