Hi Davie,don`t have a regy mate but I`ll be watching to see if it appears again with my feckin fog lights. I`ll let you know about the fog light mate but at the moment I`m thinking I`ll just put covers on as I don`t want to lose another set of fogs(a bit expensive to keep replacing). Thx Brian

Got up this morning full of the joys,me motor`s all fixed and running like a new car again.Decided to give her a wash and what do i discover,some dirty barsteward has pinched me foglights.Feeling as sick as a dog right now, hope I`m wrong but I wonder if thats why the scabby black classic has been floating around this area? Anyways anybody know the best place for replacement fogs and or covers,jist cannae believe the luck I`m having with this car.

Latest update from the dealer is the Subaru engineer took the car out and agrees it has a misfire.Yippee at last .Apparently he`s trying to download the correct file to reflash the ecu. Well here`s hoping they cure it this time.

Sorry I didn`t make last weeks Glasgow meet folks but me motor`s still running like a bag of shit!!! The update is that it`s back at the dealers again!! , being looked at by a field engineer from Subaru. So here`s hoping they find the fault this time and I can start having some fun in it. Firstly,thanks to you st3ph3n, Karps and Wilky for all the help last night it was most appreciated.Was taking the car to Greers this morning and the bloody CEL light came on again!!!! Anyways they had a look but were`nt sure exactly what the fault was as the ecu didn`t throw up any fault codes(big thanx to Bill and Colin for their help). So went from there to S&S,got it hooked up and it turns out the o2 temperature sensor is gubbed.Unfortunately they didn`t have one so need to go back down on Wednesday to get it fitted (OMP!!) Thanx again for the help ,owe you all a drink the next time i see you. Really liked the wee meter by the way,i`ll need to get one of them.

No worries matey,I found it.Fse power boost valve in the box.It`s yours if its any use to you.

Need to check when i get home from work m8 but should have one from a Ford kicking about if its just the screw your after.Could be anywhere though as i moved house recently.

Just to get back to the original thread lads,my gripe is not with s&s as im reasonably happy with the deal thats on offer.My problem is with the car,as i said in my first post on taking it for a test drive the check engine light came on so that run was a no go.I was told it was a misfire detected so went back for a second test drive yesterday in the fixed car,its still misfiring and really feels as though it wouldnt pull you out of bed. John has said this will be fixed for me but this seems to be dependant on me signing for the car,plus he is talking about changing certain things back to standard i.e. downpipe,induction kit etc.....things that i was told were why the car was slightly overpriced!!!! Oh what to do??????

Hi guys,looking for any info on the 2001 wrx (£11,495) thats in s&s services in Ayr.Any background info would be appreciated if anybody on here owned the car or knows who did. Also when we took it for a test drive a warning light in the shape of a gearbox came on,i was told this was the check engine light is this correct?As on my classic it actually says "check engine". Thx in advance for any help you can give me. Brian.
