<< Rishi - would like to see a power figure from your car M8! Lots of differing views on the cars output. 3 separate people have told me you say your car has close to 400 but with the parts you put on it I'd guess at nearer 345-350. Then I hear your last RR was about 350?
Care to explain? Or is it "beach chat" to keep the NED's at bay?
Would just like to know who to avoid and who not to!

ps - brotheres Pulsar is nearing completion, last run (1.4 bar on the 3037 AFAIK) was about 378 (or so I have been told!)
pps - how the Quaife gearbox? Or is it a "Dakar" spec box? >>

Yes there is always alot of beach chat... Not that I'm ever there... lol
I've never really said much about the cars output... People always take a guess from the likes of 1/4mile times etc... Not sure that anyone really knew the full spec of the car either but there is always talk... Its funny the amount of people who tell me about my own car... lol
Anyways... Its been mapped to a medium boost level just now, 1.5bar, it should be producing around 400bhp at this boost... If you're interested i could easy meet up with you or pop by your garage sometime so you can have a look and kill all the talk and see the facts for yourself... Also give you hints on which companies to use in the GTiR world etc...???
The Quaife Box is great... Nice and solid... Plus it can handle the power that the standard box blew apart at... lol
Providing I'm home i'd love to attend the RR day... I'll be in Africa for a week or 2 towards the end of January...

p.s. the last RR day was a year ago and i was running on a standard turbo and with a faulty injector resistor pack meaning that my car was fueling all wrong and could only hold 0.9bar boost... ended up with 300bhp/290ft lb @ 0.9bar....
p.p.s Would I be able to invite one more GTiR along... Its a 2.2L with a dustbin lid sized turbo...
