woody-cdas replied to daniel's topic in South East England
Good luck people, let us know how you get on. Dan - where did you get the Apexi from and how much? (if you don't mind me asking) Cheers, Matt. -
What version of Internet Explorer are you using? Version 7 has a "Clear Browsing History" option in the tools menu. (right hand top underneath "settings") If you have version 6 then you can clear the cache/history by going to "internet options" on your control panel and I think there is an option on there to clear the web history. Just remember that if you delete and cookies or saved passwords then you will have to retype your login password for any forums etc. In version 7 you cam select the number of days to keep the history etc. Hope this helps.

Thanks guys. I might well try and pop in on my way back from Wigan.

Would love to make this my first official Kent Scoobies meet but I will be on my way back from a week long course in Wigan as part of my new job. Just for future reference where is The Wharf?

Not heard anything and to be honest i think it would be better if it wasn't done again as nothing could live up to that great day Good point.

Fair enough mate! My motto is "if you don't ask - you don't get"[]
-
I wouldn't be worried about the number either mate - just having the car is enough.[][Y] Nice man, that's very nice man, that's very very nice man.[Y][Y][Y][Y][Y] Do you drive past my house on a regular basis - I can't wait till April! You can stop for a coffee while I take it for a test round the block!!![][][][] Cheers, Matt.

Was a great day and seeing Richards dad with a big smile on his face made it all worthwhile [] Definitely - That picture will stay with me for a long time. Do you know if there are plans to do it again next year - I know some people were talking about it? Cheers, Matt.

Nice car mate - bit newer than mine! Do you get to any meets? Cheers, Matt.

Me too. That's why i tried to keep mine on the car. Have had loads of poeple ask me about it whenever I am parked up somewhere. I did the Clacketts to Banbury bit but at times we were so far behind - only time we caught up was queing to get into Prodrive. I remeber seeing your car there. Cheers, Matt.

At last I have been spotted!!! [][][][] Shame I wasn't in it though. What do you drive Lee? I hear/see about 4 or 5 drive past my house almost everyday - I will keep a lookout if your ever passing again. Cheers, Matt. Matt i spotted you last year near Locks Bottom, you have got your User name on your windows dont you Yes I have mate - Sad isn't it!! Do you remember when last year? We moved up from West Sussex last October and stayed with friends till we moved in here the week before Christmas. Cheers, Matt Yeah it was around Oct / Nov not sure when exactly, but i remember you were sat at the lights, i was going to my old's place comming from Bromley, i waved and tooted but looked like you was doing your sums LOL deep in thought, and if it makes you feel better i have Yogi on mine as well [] Yogi - sorry i never spotted you - I'm always away with the fairies (not literally!) - I always try to look out for other owners with their usernames on display so I can put a post on here to say spotted. Will look out for you - what do you drive? Cheers, Matt.

Ian - Thanks will give Loony Toon a PM Off topic slightly - how is your window now - as in 1st pic - I still have my RB stickers on although one side looks a little chewed but it did that the day i put them on when i put the window down it caught on the rubber and ripped a strip out. I put the "In Memory ..." ones on my rear spoiler but I will have to get some more as the car needs a new spoiler after my shunt in Dec. Cheers, Matt.
-
I know - [H] - havn't seen that many tho (apart from on the RB memorial). Some people do look at me strangely tho[8-|] Particularly like the logo on your's - I take it that is an outline of Kent - who does these stickers - thinking they would look good in black or grey on my bootlid and lower doors. Cheers, Matt.

Must be from the same driving school as the guy in a Silver Classic wagon yesterday at ruxley corner. Glad everyones ok.

Ross, I've used them and they're rubbish. Spent a minute explaining the alarm valet feature and then listened for the next 30 mins as the alarm went off! IMO, they don't do a decent job either - although considering the time spent on each car it would be difficult to. I do mine myself now, and I do it properly (and it's a damn lot cheaper!). I 3rd that guy's they are SH!TE and an arm and a leg too, they even managed to put my mats in upside down and backwards DERRR Nice to see ya Ross, first person I have spotted who has actually replied. Hope your side reapeater is ok - bunch of monkeys Thanks for letting me know about ollie's guys - I don't take mine to hand wash places (always do it myself) as i can never really trust that what they use won't scratch the car etc - it's just money to them - wash as many cars as they can and they get paid more, but I was gonna tell the other half to take her car down there but I will tell her to avoid it like the plague now. Cheers, Matt.

Saw 3 today Blue "X" Reg Classic parked opposite the Red Bull pub near Sandy Lane - Ruxley Blue Bug-eye pulling out of Ollie's Posh Wash, Sevenoaks Way, Orpington 1:30 ish this afternoon. And finally... obviously in a mad rush to get somewhere... Silver Wagon on the B&Q roundabout under the A20 at Ruxley one car in front of me heading towards Swanley. Saw me in his mirror, pulled away from the lights and then raced off at mach 1 (I know I do that sometimes) overtaking all the traffic heading onto the A20 but then cut back across to get onto Edgington Road going to Ruxley Corner, must have driven over the hashed white box in the middle of the road almost all the way to Tesco's to overtake the rest. I'm not trying to spoil your fun mate or tell you how to drive - but I think there is a time and a place for that sort of stuff. It will give us all a bad name.

Trev, Do you know that Scoobyclinic will collect your car and give you a loaner while the work is being done. Don't know if that's any help to you fella? Spec C is appealing though! I know it's sh!te but these things do happen for a reason - like you say - I think your being told to get a Spec C Cheers, Matt.
