  1. Thanks for that grant - a UK car so a sheep in wolfs' clothing lol Brian
  2. I assumed that as a given No need to post that picture of your face at Dastek again, is there
  3. << Brian, what cameraphone do you use? Just for future reference if I ever need a camera with a blue filter pre-installed. >> It's a Samsung SGH600 - need to set it - I must have it on the wrong daylight setting I think. I specialise in blue pictures << Car's looking good though. You're on prodrive springs aren't you? So you'll really be cacking it for a few weeks with the lower front clearance. I know I have been with my Teins + Scott Lowe Splitter. >> Had any issues yet? Scraped very much? I am on Prodrive springs, well settled in. The flaps scrape anyway, on the high setting - I DON'T LIKE ROAD BUMPS. Brian
  4. << get your hairdryer out and 30 squid for the bulbs tighterse >> Not even so much the £30 - its that fact they have the cheek to charge £30 for four orange bulbs sprayed silver - I may get some spray on them - lots of people on Scoobynet seem to have done that - a light coating on the standard bulbs. I have the silver spray - maybe try it on the rears first!! Brian
  5. I am sure there will be a few
  6. De-tango is very close to being an option. Just building up the courage for the hairdryer/oven special Just the thought of 2 x £15 for two pairs of silver bulbs - seems a bit mad - maybe have a quick look on eBay for some bargains... It would look good - really silver up the front end - just want to get a lower Grille kit too - save the radiator foundation. Its' nice to see different people doing different things in different ways - let's keep it that way. Hope the STI Spats turn out well this time. And there will be a plague of these Prodrive splitters on the go... Brian
  7. It's fearsome loud, I tell thee
  8. Oh, and I think the other "geezer" who bought one is thinking of keeping ther STI spates on and selling the splitter instead... Brian
  9. I'd always say paint the skirts - they do look better - if you're gonna add on a splitter like this, you may as well get the side skirts done - it was very worthwhile when I got mine done ages ago. I think now the combination of the Prodrive splitter, the Prodrive Spoiler and the painted sideskirts - it looks much better than a normal 2003 plain silver WRX does. No doubt. A bit less subtle though, but - hey - when was an Impreza subtle. Brian
  10. It could be tar from the road or some diesel marks from the road. Try a mild cutting polish, maybe T-Cut or something similar. It should shift and no, you should not have rust on a painted plastic bumper. Brian
  11. 100% sure he would - it is their demo car. Someone was taking it for a test drive this morning apparently... Drives very nicely. Brian
  12. Or Claire's new EVO IX???
  13. Must be your turn next Wullie????
  14. Thanks Shazza I have been driving a 2.0 GX Sport for the last few days - very good it was too Here is a picture (attached) just for you

  16. The fogs actually need a damn good clean, behind the protectors...need to take the front spats off and get the protectors off - that's the spring time MEGA clean it needs. By then it will be nearly three years old. Amazing - doesn't seem that long. Brian
  17. There are actually branded Prodrive fog light protectors/covers on the front. I was trying not to give the car an STI look-a-like front end - something a bit different, more WR1 ish. Covers maybe - quite like the fogs look. Proudly he says "I am not ashamed its' not an STI". There I've said it - I am brave Brian
  18. Not sure - I have heard that some wheels don't take very well to powdercoating - but then again many people get it done. Also depends if the cost is worthwhile or if you can get the same wheels in silver already for the extra amount. Brian
  19. Big MEGA thanks to Gav and Ian Grieve Subaru in Camelon, Falkirk for spending so much time trying to find some issues with my car. Very helpful, way above and beyond the call of duty and a far cry from the disgraceful Drive Subaru, which was there before. Most importantly thanks to Gav for advice, courtesy car and honesty in car discussion. I know where I'll be taking my car for its' next service. BUT WHAT ABOUT THE NEW FRONT END - PRODRIVE SPLITTER It has really transformed the look of the car - just need to watch out for dips, low things, kerbs and driveways, potholes, lumps, grains of dust in the road, you get the drift. The front end looks so much less bland, much lower and much more aggressive. What do you think???? Pictures are from my camera phone so apologies for the quality, but you get the idea. Brian
  20. As loud as a loud thing!!! Totally MEGA sound though - the business... Brian
