For all who need directions
There are a couple of ways to go.
A suggested is as follows:
M8 east all the way to Hermiston Gait
Take City Bypass South and follow it past about 6 junctions (IIRC), past Colington/Oxgangs Junction and you are coming off at the following one which is called LOTHIANBURN. This sounds a lot but it is really only about 5 minutes driving max on the bypass (if it is clear).
Come off the Lothianburn junction up the slip road and take the left lane and head left (at the give way/roundabout) up the hill to the traffic lights.
At the traffic lights take the right hand lane and turn right into Frogston Road (east IIRC). About half a mile or so along the road you will see signs on the left for "Mortonhall Caravan Park".
Turn left in there and head straight down the road to the back and you will see "The Stables" car park and, no doubt, some Scoobs
There are a few ways to go. Coming off at the next Junction (Straiton for IKEA) is pretty much identical direction BUT you head up the hill and take the left hand lane at the traffic lights, turn left at the lights and the sign for Mortonhall Caravan Park is on your right this time.
Traffic dependant, it is 45 minutes from the "Welcome to Glasgow" signs of the M8 (just past Junction 10 Easterhouse/Barlanark going east) to Hermiston Gait at the end (Junction 1) of the M8. You should get to the Stables within 1 hour of the Showcase Cinema junction of the M8 (Junction 8).
Hope this helps.
