  1. Do a search for one of the Subaru breakers maybe? Glenburgie is one and the others will no doubt appear in a search. Good luck. Brian
  2. I have boost and Oil Temp. in mine. Head unit and front door speakers are an absolute must - the speakers are terrible too. The difference will be a lot although the Impreza is not a great sounding car - I miss the install I had in my last car - it did sound good and was naturally good for acoustics. The Impreza is not unfortunately. However, even a sub-£100 head unit will be better than the Kenwood unit fitted by Subaru. Brian
  3. Pete, Virtually nobody will insure track days. You need specialist insurance - do a search - there are two main companies if I remember rightly. Expect to pay roughly £10 for every £1000 insured and the excess will be roughly £1500. Brian
  4. Nice - don't let the real radio listeners know those speeds are ever seen
  5. Skunk, Seen you going through Blackburn (West Lothian) heading towards sunny Whitburn last Sunday - was in the GT so did not wave - you'd think "WHAT?". You were concentrating hard! Brian
  6. Nice car Robin - how does it go on the corners and the "anchors" must be massive? Brian
  7. I'd certainly come along but not to run (run last month). Have any of the dates been booked - I am surprised Gerry has both those weekends on both days available - Dastek are usually booked up months in advance with loads of R.R. days Good idea about moving it away from other events guys. Brian
  8. A modding virgin too? AND he'd never been karting before the SIDC day a few weeks ago!!
  9. Well done Keith, Not saying anything I do is any better BTW! Is it a good piece of kit? Brian
  10. Looking good Keith. I especially like what you've done with the wire
  11. It winsae me anyway I can well imagine the conversations you've had outside buildings in the city at night (and behind) Brian
  12. Robert Burns Jacket? To A Haggis by Robert Burns: Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face, Great chieftain o the puddin'-race! Aboon them a' ye tak your place, Painch, tripe, or thairm: Weel are ye wordy of a grace As lang's my arm. The groaning trencher there ye fill, Your hurdies like a distant hill, Your pin wad help to mend a mill In time o need, While thro your pores the dews distil Like amber bead. His knife see rustic Labour dight, An cut you up wi ready slight, Trenching your gushing entrails bright, Like onie ditch; And then, O what a glorious sight, Warm-reekin, rich! Then, horn for horn, they stretch an strive: Deil tak the hindmost, on they drive, Till a' their weel-swall'd kytes belyve Are bent like drums; The auld Guidman, maist like to rive, 'Bethankit' hums. Is there that owre his French ragout, Or olio that wad staw a sow, Or fricassee wad mak her spew Wi perfect sconner, Looks down wi sneering, scornfu view On sic a dinner? Poor devil! see him owre his trash, As feckless as a wither'd rash, His spindle shank a guid whip-lash, His nieve a nit: Thro bloody flood or field to dash, O how unfit! But mark the Rustic, haggis-fed, The trembling earth resounds his tread, Clap in his walie nieve a blade, He'll make it whissle; An legs an arms, an heads will sned, Like taps o thrissle. Ye Pow'rs, wha mak mankind your care, And dish them out their bill o fare, Auld Scotland wants nae skinking ware That jaups in luggies: But, if ye wish her gratefu prayer, Gie her a Haggis! Ah, the culture, Brian
